These mittens take popular thrums to the next level! Our alpaca yarn and our rovings are used to produce these unique thrums complete with accents on the cuff and embroidered/felted overlay on the mitten itself. Not only will the rovings inside these mittens keep your hands toasty warm, they will felt with increased use and create a windproof liner right inside the mitten. Created by local fibre artist Sandy Nilsson these mittens are the answer for anyone who has ever complained of cold hands!

Homegrown
Do not put alpaca in hot water, agitate it, or dry in a dryer or on a heat source.
Soak in room temperature water with gentle detergent or shampoo for 30 minutes, rinse, gently squeeze away excess water, and lay flat to dry.
Wipe soiled area with a damp cloth free from soap, and allow it to air dry. Gently brush fur when dry and shake to fluff.
