After skirting and grading our fibre, it is sent to mini mills to be cleaned, carded into roving, and spun into yarn. Some of our fibre is returned to us before the spinning process so that we may offer 100g bags of roving to our clients. These rovings are from Neva. Neva's fibre has been short as she ages, and so to stabilize the fleece, the mill added some indigo fine merino. This produced beautiful black roving with a hint of blue. They can be spun into a striking yarn, needle felted, or wet felted.
